  1. CMD PCI64x 32-Bit Local Bus master IDE Netware 4.x Driver Installation Instructions

  4. The CMD C646X4X hard disk driver can be run on Netware 4.X. It supports up 
  5. to 2 IDE channels. 
  6.  
  7. Note that the CMD 32-Bit Local-Bus IDE driver for DOS has to be loaded in 
  8. CONFIG.SYS in order for the C646X4X Netware driver to function properly.
  9.  
  10. The C646X4X driver will inherit the drive mode and timing setting from DOS
  11. driver.  There is no option to specify for this driver.  It will automatically
  12. look for all the drives on the IDE channel(s).

  15. INSTALLATION
  16. ------------

  18. 1) Install Netware 4.X
  19.  
  20. 2) When installation of Netware 4.X prompts for hard disk driver name, specify
  21.    the full path name of the CMD Netware driver. For example, if the CMD
  22.    installation diskette is in drive A, you can specify
  23.  
  24.     A:\NETWARE.4X
  25.  
  26. 3) Select C646X4X
  27.  
  28. 4) Proceed with the rest of the Netware installation.
  29.  
  30. 5) Go back to DOS
  31.  
  32. 6) Run the INSTALL.BAT from the NETWARE.4X directory in the CMD installation
  33.    diskette.  For instance, if the diskette is in drive A,
